LE K （b.1994）

Le K（b.1994）Born in China，based in Guangzhou, Toronto

Le K is a Multidisciplinary artist and curator currently based in Toronto and Guangzhou. She completed her MA at the Institut d'Études Supérieures des Arts. Her practice is mainly influenced by behaviorism, existentialism, poverty art and brutalism.

Her practice interrogates conceptions of philosophy with a strong emphasis on contemporary topics, Neuroplasticity, Cognitive Behavioral Theory and Behavioral Prediction Analysis. Her current research framework is built around the construction of standards and doubts, identities and relationships, truths and beliefs. Through the visual contours and textures of her work，Le K metaphorizes affective experience of the absurd of the isolated Individual (L'individu isolé), dissect the genesis of “sense of self” (Selvfølelse) that underlie differential responses to open-ended propositions.

LE K （Krish Liang） 跨学科艺术家，策展人，1994年出生于中国广州，目前工作生活于多伦多、广州。研究生就读于法国 Institut d'Études Supérieures des Arts。创作主要受 Behaviorism (行为心理学), Existentialism (存在主义), Arte Povera (贫穷艺术) 及 Brutalism (粗野主义) 的影响。自2021年后转而以哲学与当代议题的联结交叉梳理创作脉络，同时特别强调介入方式、神经可塑性、认知行为理论及行为预测分析。籍著分段式的调研，艺术家目前以构建标准与疑虑、身份与关系、本真与信念为主要框架展示她将持续发展的探究。通过⼀系列综合材料和装置作品的可视轮廓与质感隐喻⽆法回避的孤独个人(L'individu isolé) 的非理性情绪体验，解剖藏匿在开放性命题的差异性回应背后 “自我感” (Selvfølelse) 的形成根源。

Le K的每个架上作品都会有一个带序列号的吊牌，这些吊牌序列号因艺术家的偏好所以均为单数，吊牌隐藏着 Le K 对消费主义文化范式下如何正视艺术价值的追寻。
